About 20 percent cooling, and 80 percent extensive, I’d wager.

Having a cool computer was never this ergonomically friendly!
Just kidding, I got carpal tunnel syndrome just from looking at this.

For those of you who might be a little bit confused, a GPU heat sink is supposed to look a little something like this. The one pictured is about as useful as a fan with no blade!

Looks like it really needed some cooling. It’s on fire, after all.

Had an older desktop that kept overheating, so I just chucked the case, hung it on some wire shelving and it works like a charm. The next step is to get an adaptor for the laptop screen so that the whole thing is self contained and will only have the power cord hanging off of it. This was just a trial run and I may find a better way to hang everything, other than zipties. Ont eh other hand, it’s a superior kludge this way, I just need to incorporate some duct tape…

Going broke to buy a ultra-high-end gaming PC and not having any money left to cool it properly? Worth it.

It only cost three sliced fingers and a some homemade sutures, but boy wasn’t that easy!
