Which is a more utile tool? A hot glue gun, or duct tape? I’ll let you be the judge.

And sometimes, where there’s a will, there’s also about 50 different safety hazards.

I’ll bet it’s still not as durable as a peanut phone, though.

From the kludger:
While half way trimming my hair the built-in battery got drained. I had a meeting in 1 hour and charging would had taken 3 – 4 hours. I decided to open it up only to find a NiMH AAA battery soldered on. I ripped it out, pulled the wires to the exterior. Wired up a standard AAA battery while keeping it in good contact with two of my fingers, while finishing up the job. Worked like a charm. Not a pretty sight through.

I think the biggest downside of the advances in cell phone technology is the loss of Snake, possibly the greatest time-wasting game in history. We don’t want to play a crappy interactive version of the latest Michael Bay movie. We want Snake back. And nothing more.

Youtuber Spiritplumber devised a cheap and relatively-simple way to extend your cell phone’s battery life. Recording video on smart phones is notorious for draining your juice and he claims this workaround can last a few hours with just a couple of bucks. Or you can go the less ugly but more expensive route and just pick up one of these guys.
