Don’t think it is a kludge, it looks like a purpose made tissue box cover, doesn’t look like a real Famicom. The buttons are all flat and the disk drive definitely isn’t real.
I have the same tissue box holder sitting on my desk. It’s just a piece of plastic molded in the shape of a famicom that you put over a tissue box. It only fits around the really thin tissue boxes though.
I used to have the same looking computer (that is an understatement for a Chinese TV game set) but that did not give me tissues when I lost in a game and felt like crying.
Does this remind anyone else of the fax machine and tissue dispenser from the “invention exchange” segment of MST3K during the Gamera vs. Gaos episode? Maybe?
Looks like a papercraft, the floppy slot looks flat.

A quick google for famicom tissue dispenser finds it on joystiq.com Surely anything you can buy doesnt qualify as a kludge.
Kludge or not… It is pretty cool!!
This kludge does not compute.
That’s the strangest printer I’ve ever seen, Vern.

No wonder she needs all the tissues. Look at all the pron rags in the back.
If the tissues don’t come out, do you have to blow in the slot?
