yup it is GRUB, the very thing that f***ed up my windows install when I wanted to have a dual-boot
Grub can be chain-loaded to boot windows, the windows boot loader cant be linked to grub last time i checked. Look online, you shouldnt have to do too much to get windows bootable again.

That’s a GRUB boot menu listing two kernels (backups are good to have) with normal startup and single user mode for each, plus two Memtest86 entries. Pretty much standard setup for me and many Linux users for the last decade.
Actually, I am a staunch Linux and FreeBSD user, and am glad Lilo is no more, so I would advise keeping insults to yourself.
