From looking at it, I think it could even be more impressive for the eyes than it is for your arms:
If you think that wood normally has a density of about 1 kg / l (assume it is water for now) and iron/steel has a density of about 8 kg / l, the above weights can’t be much more than 200kg, probably less – nothing that is impossible.
See, this I don’t get. This is, by every definition, a Kludge. It’s a bunch of things put together in a way to serve a purpose other than their intended purpose.
It is a kludge. You list it as not a kludge. Something that’s a manufactured product? You list as a kludge. Why?
As any serious fitness guru wood tell you, it’s important to keep a log of your exercise routine, especially if you want to branch out, or even if you’re just trying to turn over a new leaf. Forgetting about that kind of thing will just leaf you to bark up the wrong tree, as you’ll not have put down any roots into your exercises.
This picture is so depressing! I hope it’s an art piece because knowing this was created out of necessity makes me want to kill myself.
Nope, it’s not an art. It’s Russsia.
Belive me, i live here.
Gosh, “user”, it really MUST be bad in Russia if internet surfers don’t even get a real nickname.
I guess if you’re Russian, “user” is more exotic than “tovarich” or “Mt Putin”
please , dont tease. do it.
How much wood can you press?
I woodn’t be able to press much without getting splinters.
Who’s your spotter? Paul Bunyon?

That’s some heavy-ass wood ur talking about, bro
Some woods are denser than water. But this looks like birch (the uprights supporting the barbell certainly are), which is only about .7 kg / l.
Point stands that yeah, the weight would be a sensible amount.
I’m still calling art on this, mainly because the photograph looks composed, not a snapshot.
Shut up.

Ummmm… What is woods intended purpose besides the purpose man makes for it?
To grow?
