Submitted by: Kyle

The recipe said prep time was 20 minutes, but I need it done in 5. ~Not-So-Handy Andy

Also, he was jealous that his brother, Stainkiller, was getting more attention over the weekend.

  1. patrick says:

what’s the big deal, we used to always make pizza sauce this way…

  2. wingedshadowwolf says:

LOL I have actually used a setup like this!

I remember when we lost the beater end, we tried to use a fork instead.
    Yeah, that didn’t work….

    • joy says:

We use a cordless drill with a mini whisk for whipping cream & egg whites: we find it much more convenient than getting out the electric mixer.

  3. homey says:

You need two of these, one normal and one in reverse. Use duct tape to McGyver them together. btw, 1st!

  4. Cletis says:

This reminds me of the time a new girlfriend said she want to take a bath when she came over to my place, so I got out the SoftSoap and the random action orbital sander with a wax mop head, and got to scrubbing the lime crust out of the tub.

  5. Indomitus says:

Okay, who here feels lucky enough to try licking the beaters?

  6. Butterfingers says:

    This is an old technique.

  7. batter up says:

I’ve used my own drill before, when my mixer broke. Made for some really foamy and well mixed batter.

  8. oobaka says:

What man hasn’t used his drill to mix something while baking / cooking?

  9. DDave says:

About 25 years ago, I did that! But I made a beater from a piece of 1/4″ diameter steel bar. I had just moved out, didn’t have a mixer, and my little sister came over and we made cookies.

  10. Sarge says:

When this guy goes into the kitchen and says: “Ok, what’s the drill.” He’s not speaking metaphorically; He’s wondering which drill to use.

  11. Truckle says:

Anyone notice that is a hammer drill?

  12. SavageParrot says:

A real man would have used a jackhammer to break those eggs.

  13. Anon says:

I once worked in a Crepe restaurant, we had a 3/4″ Drill with huge whisk that was all but welded onto it.

  14. Pirate says:

Alton Brown does this. If you don’t know who Alton Brown is, YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO STOP COOKING.

  15. RJ says:

We did this at Pizza Hut to mix the pizza and breadstick sauce. When you’re mixing gallons of something that gets really thick the more you mix, the idea is promoted from kludge to genius automatically. lol

  16. reboots says:

    Drill press whipped cream:

Plastic spoon chucked in the press. Worked better than nothing.

  17. jas says:

I’ve done this to mix Adam’s Peanut Butter (with a splatter shield!) and homemade energy bars. Anything less would die a painful death.

  18. Angel says:

I did something similar to whip egg white. Much better than a standard , underpowered kitchen appliance. My drill had 650 Watts, 4 times more powerfull. You can whip cream in 5 seconds flat.

  19. Coolman says:

Anybody want to buy one of those?

  20. TheDave says:

Jeremy Clarkson’s V8 blender would be much more suitable

  21. Gas Sensor : says:

the drill press that we use at home uses a 1/4 horespower motor and it is sufficient for general applications _
