There is a door much like this in the buiding with my dentit. It’s an access door to the attic of the next building, which does not have matching floor elevations.
The real ‘kludge’ is the decision to not install the bottom window trim under the door.

I call it a “girl’s fixing job.” I worked in a building that had 2 doors in different locations on the second floor that led to the outside. I used to jokingly refer to it as somebody’s “suicide door.” The public sidewalks were a story below.
Bring the cahir in with you and I promise the kids won’t suddenly interupt your “pushups” with your wife.
The Chair implys that you are meant to go through the door, but what if you aren’t? What if there is just wall behind the door and the chair is meant for sitting? There’s a heater, it might be a very cozy spot with some interesting art (door) you can look at.
Did no one else think of pans labyrinth when they saw this? D:

It is photoshoped. The door is real but the heater isn’t. look at it closely, can’t you tell?
It seems like someone started dividing by 0 and when he/she/it found out about this, quickly stopped all the calculations in his/her/its mind in order to keep the damage from spreading.
The bottom trim is missing because there never was any; it was a floor jam for the door. Ahhh, what Photoshop can’t do anymore.. There were steps leading up to the door. Neither the heater or chair are organic to this photo. Notice the prominent light source to the upper left of the door. The shadow being cast by the chair is waaaay off. The blending of the grey wall carpet looks almost decent (key word almost), but then there’s the heater.. what a chop job. Use your common sense, folks. This was somebody’s 20 minute adventure in Photoshop..
