They could have at least removed the stand. Then the kludge would look downright classy (given the setting).
I’ve actually seen something similar done (not sure if it was on this site, though) that a guy had a PC rigged into a bunk bed. He had the bottom, PC under the bed, and tied his monitor to the top bunk with a wireless keyboard in hand. Was actually pretty awesome.
