shouldn’t the fans be pulling air in to make it cooler?
Since warm air rises, exhausting the air from the top, while pulling cooler air in from the bottom, will cool the room more efficiently.
I’ve done something similar. The top fan pulls hot air out of the room while the lower fan pulls in cool. The system works better if there is more than one window in the room and the fans are placed in different windows.
Box cat is not a fan.

of course it’s a bad idea. You use the CLEAR duct tape to repair windows.

Ha! I hadn’t noticed that! Now the cat’s out of the bag.
He’s one cool cat though.
It looks as though the DIYer did not find another double fan unit, and made his own. But in so doing, he broke the bottom window, and put the glass shards back together with duct tape. The whole ordeal made the cat seek an emotional retreat into the cardboard carton. Sort of a kludge chain reaction.
And the land lord will NEVER notice that.
The cat got too close while the duct taping occured. It is hiding in the box out of embarrassment because it has no hair on it’s hind quarters.
Just wondering – does this cat qualify as a Person in the Lower Right?

If not for the tethers, those fans would be long gone by now.
I was wondering if they were attempting to turn their home into a hovercraft.
I get the feeling that this is all an elaborate ploy to divert everyone’s attention away from those plaid patch quilt curtains.
I was wondering about those, too. It looks like some guy’s mom used old boxer shorts to make the curtains. Just be thankful he doesn’t wear briefs or banana hammocks. Eww.

At first they tried to stick the fans through the window but realized that that didn’t work, so they duct taped it up and opened it
