Now that’s really going to the can.
I kinda like it. the whole room (a public washroom, I’m guessing) has a unified design.
If by “unified” you mean jury-rigged, then yes.
Me too! I would do a whole loo in an urban decay kind of look! Even the cinder brick wall is cool. I like the concept.
And if the pipe leaks, you don’t have to put a bucket under it…brilliant!
Well this is inaccurate – no Grouch would ever sully his house with a bathroom.
I’m guessing these are “His” and “His” sinks.
I’m not sure that it counts as a kludge when there was a deliberate aesthetic choice made in the design.
It took me a few views to realise the same. At first, I thought it was a bathroom at a park or something like that, and the cans are used to hold water until near full, then used to water plants. Then I realised that they aren’t mobile, and that they are used strictly to hold up the sinks. I like this!
Not to mention the slices up the sides means no water could be held in there. There’s at least a half inch of space going all the way from the bottom to the top. These are simply hiding the pipes beneath and nothing more.
actually, I think this is really cool!
I half-expect the Grinch to come out of one, and Oscar to come out of the other.
Which one, which one?
Oscar, rotf…good one
Not really a kludge — It’s an intentional grunge/industrial look in a men’s room in a church near where I live.
I give it t-t-two thumbs up.
Beautiful! The only thing left is painting some flowers on those cans.
This is just pure class all the way.
Now the definition of “Water wasting” has really been taken way too literally.
I dunno… I’ve seen intentional, non-jury-rigged design that looks pretty much like that, like at upscale BBQ joints and such.
I agree that this is intentional by design. I mean, the fact that they found metal garbage cans means they went to great lengths to do this.
wow i thought the public would want a new sink
What a trashy bathroom!
All I hear is the Beats from Doug singing “bangin’ on a Trachcan”
It’s a cool motif for those of us who enjoy urinating in back alleys. Did they throw in a few sewer rats for that well thought out finishing touch?
Sewer rats?
That’s a man’s bathroom not a petting zoo.
they threw every thing out but the kit…..bathroom s….wait….they threw it out
So what do the toilets look like?
Proof that all vanity is pure garbage.
um…so what does the women’s bathroom look like?
“For the classy hobo that needs to freshen up after taking a dump on the sidewalk”.
This gives new meaning to the phrase; “I gotta’ go use the can”
It’s kind of artistic, actually. I like it.
I particularly like the stains on the floor between the cans.
That’s something that has stumped bathroom designers for many years: how to build them to thwart even the most determined sink pisser.
time to hit the can
it’s Oscar the Grouch’s bathroom
I could sit and look through this site for hours I swear!! haha
