I actually think we got bed bugs from the saran wrap ripping off the bed and being exposed to the air for 3 days… I had to steam the mattress for an hour and spray it…I’m not joking…

I posted this pic! And I will tell you why this IS A KLUDGE. I drove 3000 miles, and every time I tried to put saran wrap on, it just flew off within ten minutes. I agree saran wrap is great for pallets, but pallets are different then truck beds driving 80MPH in the wind for three days.

By the way, I have tried ordinary food wrap, and it’s not bad at all. Compresses, stabilizes, and protects all at once! I study overseas, and often leave home with a ton of stuff that only needs to travel one way. My dad has amazing plastic wrapping skills. Comforter too puffy? Wrap it. Boots flopping around? Wrap ‘em. Bike parts jutting out of box? Plastic wrap to the rescue. Bottle of soy sauce in glass bottle? Yup, wrap it.
