I used to do this all the time in the Marines. If I wake up on Friday morning realizing I forgot to defrost the freezer for inspection. It works in a pinch.

I’ve seriously thrown a running hair dryer in the fridge before, but took it out when the ice melted all over it. Makes perfect sense.

My father-in-law put a tool in the freezer because warmed due to the fact that the engine performed little power
