What a load! Everyone knows that those JEGS stickers add, on average, 10 horsepower per application.

  2. !vo says:

No wonder it uses wood fuel.

  3. HUSABOB says:

Kudos to the owner for keeping an older Chevy on the road, but where’s the kludge? some spray paint and a couple of stickers? Don’t piss off the driver, or they might take the load and go fence-postal on ya!

  4. monkeyslayer56 says:

lol hes not even on the main part of the road…

  5. TJ says:

I want to know what parts he ordered from Jegs “High Performance”

  6. Evan says:

    Can’t spell “fast”

  7. phuphuphnik says:

Heh I can relate. At least they are letting you know! I’ve seen model Ts with the sticker “I only have 3 gears, you won’t like the other two either”

  8. William says:

It makes perfect sense, as a lot of people don’t understand the meaning of the industry standard orange triangle (which they could have easily kludged with orange spray paint or reflective duct tape). The JEGS stickers are there to improve visibility.

    • Anodean says:

      >>people don’t understand meaning of…orange triangle<<

Well, that would explain why no one ever seemed to get the joke when I said I'd bought a cane as an alternative to taping an orange triangle to my bum. :D

Blank stares. You know, slow moving equipment? Tractors on the road? Ohhh! Sheesh. Driver's license from the drugstore, the lot of 'em.

Anyway. Perfect sense to me, too. I like this guy. ;D

    • Orv says:

I hope it’s not *that* slow. The orange triangle is for vehicles that can’t exceed 25 mph.

  9. Maki says:

You know what? I have the sudden urdge to stand behind that van and just… HORN! Bheep! Bheep!

    • monkeyslayer56 says:

lol i want to see that

      • Bard says:

Oh lordie, you would so get your… tuchus… bruised. I’m from Butte myself, and can make a fairly good guess on that. It looks like the picture was taken in the 2nd St. neighborhood, probably heading up Utah Ave, I wouldn’t mess with that guy fer nuthin’! Haven’t seen this particular vehicle, but a RezCar like that probably *can’t* top 25 if it’s hauling anything more than a few logs. That’s a working truck, it probably carries much heavier loads on a regular basis. And, like I said, RezCar. Nuf’ said right there, y/n?

It does look like he originally tried to spell “faster” but ran out of room… Native Buttants aren’t known for their wit.

  10. James says:

I sense a new Chevy slogan: “Chevy: Can’t go Faster”

  11. Truthiness says:

Either that’s a clever reference to the movie “Talladega Nights” or the truck REALLY cant go fast!

  12. nativefloridian says:

I need to do this until I get to the mechanic this weekend…(in paper, anyway.)

  13. impsonsay says:

I’d be much more curious if it said “Can’t be Trusted with Logs”.

  14. Orv says:

I used to have a VW Vanagon Diesel. This was a vehicle that weighed nearly two tons and had a tiny 1.6L diesel engine. I had a bumper sticker that said, “49 horsepower. Please, just pass.”

  15. Stef says:

Spray paint! Now I can avoid buying a baby on board sign…

  16. SickleYield says:

You know, I believe this guy. I really, really do.

  17. dono1 says:

Fast or slow, he certainly logs a lot of miles.

  18. Should have just painted “I am slow”

  19. FunBags says:

At least they were able to spell correctly! And I’m surprised both tail lights are intact, there isn’t a bumper or muffler hanging on the ground either! For sure not in the south!

  20. saintknowitall says:

The future motto of GM (Government Motors).

  21. Siobhan says:

Come on guys! He’s just tired of being the “butte” of everyone’s jokes. You go guy! Stand up fo’ yo’self!

  22. dla says:

Oh, good ol’ Butte!! I wonder if he has any idea he is “famous” :)

  23. Domino says:

    I like honest advertising.

  24. Scott F says:

Does it say “Bol-L-Gol Gardening” on the side?

  25. TheAntiCat says:

Wait, I thought the Chevy Nova was a sedan?

  26. ShutterCat says:

Main and Missouri street, Butte, MT if you want to see for yourself.

  27. Omg, I saw that vehicle when I was visiting a relative in Butte. Lol!
