I’m sure the cattle enjoy it. Not too smooth, though. Hey, hold my beer and watch this.

  2. Sharp8807 says:

I highly approve of this kludge! Hope they used the smooth wall stuff though…

  3. Joe says:

A lot of these lately. This is just a clever built, not a bad repair.

  7. BoringTroll says:

There is a water pipe running up above the slide. The slide will work just fine, with enough water.

  8. PAt says:

    Fun AND functional!

  9. Daniel says:

Is that thing ribbed also on the inside? If not, that’s a pretty cool build. Nothing kludgey about that.

    • spencer says:

no. it’s smooth on the inside, a lot of the farms around here that have converted to tourist attractions have used these pipes for slides. and they make great ones too!

  10. P_Buttercup says:

That? = awesome. My kids would love it.

  11. Evan says:

Because evolution may be illegal in Kansas, but engineering isn’t (yet)…

Sure looks like the camouflaged rocket launching tube that I saw advertised in Soldier of Fortune a while back. Nice home under construction in the background.

  17. leedsb says:

This is going tubing a la Kansas.

  18. snash says:

At least the pool skimmer is there leaning against the pool. Ready to skim the flesh bits from the rough edges of that cut pipe.

Isn’t that the farm where they make Soylent Green?

  20. knowitall says:

Do you people even realize that those pipes come in double walled versions that are smooth inside? Looks like a cool idea to me. Probably got the pipe as cheap surplus from a construction site too.

ok. i may be wrong… but that looks fun!

  22. Ribbed for their pleasure? That’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

  23. kingofcob says:

its amazing what you can do with some left over drainage tial

  27. classicgameguru says:

Coming soon to farmer Joe’s pig farm. The pig slip, dip and slide.

  28. ann says:

I like the re-use of old pallets to make the top of that stand the pipe is on — nails? rough lumber? no problem!

  29. ug says:

This build looks a little scary, bit I have used this pipe for a slide, and it works very well. Its smooth on the inside.

…and for an extra thrill kids, you might get impaled by the bracing-stick right before you splashdown!!
