I was once behind three piggybacked tractor-trailer cabs on a highway. Scary as hell – there was no lateral stability, so it was constantly fishtailing slightly.

I would say this were Russia! The guys who deliver used Japanese vehicles from the very East of Russia to the very West use the same technique to drive three cars at a time. And yes, this is normal that our own cars are 90% pure crap and 10% military purpose dreadful monsters.
