		<description><![CDATA[I posted above about this. I&#039;m a A+ Certified Computer Technician. Even in my training we did not take apart monitors. They are DEADLY! Serious! You can be killed from doing something like this. Only someone trained in working with them with the proper tools should even attempt to open one.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Some professions just use leather gloves and a light bulb in a socket. It&#039;s called a capacitor-forming-tool. You touch one wire from the light socket to the metal chassis of the monitor, and push the other one up under the insulating boot of the big wire attached to the picture tube. If it&#039;s charged, the bulb should show you the progress of the discharge, by lighting up and then dimming until dead. With gloves still on, pull the big wire off of the picture tube and touch it to many mental things in the case. Then tear the sucker apart and send the unwanted parts to your community recycling center. The tool is standard equipment for those that work with monitors and power supplies.]]></description>
