Well, they can’t say they didn’t warn you.
But is it worth the effort to break in?
the black ink lies really its a super oiled and new door handle. they put that there so that people will go flying through the door when they open it
“Aw crap… The door is hard to open! I guess we will have to stake out another house…”
“Why not break a window?”
“We’re criminals, not jerks!”
dots around the door knob to illustrate “hardness”.
@monkeyslayer56 lol … good call.
That would be a cool album cover.
No kludge required!
Isn’t that like when the construction crews put up a “Rough Road” sign?
So does this mean it’s hard to close?
nice^^
“Try Using Key”
Duct tape might not be able to fix this, but its counterpart, WD-40, will

Norn.
It’s “Sam and Frodo after a cool bath in the pond together”
“Hranga”. At least, that’s what it is in Quenya.
My Geek-o-meter has officially gone through the roof.
^^ Or a sander.
Push, not pull…
its a trap set by that kid from “Home Alone” lol
It’s better than write “Turn and push”…
It is probably a note to the contractor, pointing out which door to fix.
I am utterly baffled by the dotted line around the knob. Hard to open, place C-4 along dotted line?
You know, it looks like a bit of drywall with a doorknob on it. “Hard to open”? Probably because it’s a WALL!
I don’t think that’s a dotted line. I think that’s crayon on texture… which does still leave the question of “Why circle the knob?”
@Jman
The note on the other side of the door says, “Hard to close”.
the other side says I TOLD YOU SO
Good idea, warn anyone who wants to break in how difficult it will be for them….perhaps they couldn’t find an alarm system in their price range?
The @#%$^&% you hear on the other side of the door as the crooks try to get in is the alarm system.
What are the odds that you’ll see/read the warning before you run into the door? And will it stop you?
Could this be the other side of

Ok, I’m hard, why is it not to open?
The “dots” around the handle are actually perforations. If you turn too hard, the doorknob breaks off.
Hey little thing lemme light your candle, cause mama I’m sure hard to hand now, yes sir am.
@jeeves
HAHHAHAHAHAHA!
BTW: tangaa

That’s what she said.
only chuck norris can open this door
Probably built when Gandalf was younger and couldn’t outright declare “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!” and have the power to back it up.
Hey little thing let me turn ya handle cause mama I’m sure hard to open now, yes I am…!
@Daniel
love it :]
Spoon!
what is the handle made of
English man English. It’s not: ok I’m hard now, why is it not to open.
rofl.
you can enter but you can never leave
Ai! Uupirukendea i ruuma ando.
“Alas! One must turn strongly to heavily control the gate.”
Well, you *asked*.
Hah. I taped a yellow sticky note to a door at work, to open turn knob up (clockwise). Somehow pushing down (anti-clockwise), the tongue wouldnt retract enough to open the door.
On the side of “why not get it fixed?” we have master/slave key systems and we dont want the moron that fixed the last door to come back again. He replaced a door lock last year with one that always requires a key to open, never stays unlocked. He got half payment till he would return and fix it right. He never returned to fix it.
