    and now to put a different address on each one :D

    They’ve definitely addressed a sticky situation and delivered a first-class solution without making a big flap about it.

    nice post. another 1st class delivery. you’re well label to choose your words.

  4. arrarr says:

    didn’t see until I had submitted that I’d repeated some of yours. the repetition was not intended. not intended. not intended.

  5. dono1 says:

    @arrarr
    Careful- don’t go postal on us.

  6. The Cat says:

    Maybe you should take 6 to 8 weeks to calm down.

  7. watercolorsunday says:

    Not gonna lie to you. I’ve done something similar with UPS wasted other half of sticky paper on waybill.

  8. Daniel says:

    Ah, misuse of postal supplies and insufficient packaging. A topic I am well versed on. I have seen helicopters built of Priority Boxes and Tyvek envelopes. Recycled box too, I see. Not sufficiently filled. My crystal ball says it will arrive in a little plastic bag that reads “Because we care”.

  9. Alice says:

    Bet they’re gonna want to send it FedEx.

  10. Daniel says:

    @Alice

    Actually, that’s exactly what we did. :D

    I worked in a Mail Boxes Etc Store and the rule was never abuse the supplies of the company you are shipping with. So Fedex stuff for UPS, UPS for Post Office, Postal supplies for Fedex. This to avoid service confusion on a package you wanted to send Parcel but packed with Priority tape.

  11. Mr Evilwrench says:

    I don’t see what the problem is. Tape is what, strips of paper or something that’s sticky on one side, right? Tape, label, why so technical? Run out of one kind, use another, right? Already reusing a box, so you get some green points there, don’t you?

  12. Buriana says:

    You can tell this is obviously first class. If it weren’t, they would have just used some silly string.

  13. JB says:

    It reminds me a of a package wrapped with sheets of stamps to make it to the right amount…

  14. Epic Ideas says:

    monkeyslayer56 :
    and now to put a different address on each one

    Who wouldn’t…One adress per stamp

    i wonder. would they ship it to someone then demand it back so they can ship it on to the next on or would they send it into there duplicating machine? or would the postal system shutdown dou to confusion :P i really got to try that lol

  16. Daniel says:

    @Mr Evilwrench

    Let’s apply that logic to toilet paper.

  17. waldo says:

    They must have a good supply of forever stamps to ship that package to all those addresses.

  18. Mr Evilwrench says:

    @Daniel
    Well ya gotta wipe with somethin!

  19. Grani says:

    OMGosh…
    I’ve SO done this…then felt guilty and wrapped the entire box in brown bags from the grocery store.

  20. Pat says:

    @Grani

    The sad part is is that I’ve seen this done as well.

  21. Justin says:

    Those Post Ooffice jerks always try to charge you for a whole roll when you ask for some tape. This is a great FU to the establishment. haha

  22. Joe says:

    i agree, i would do this, you used to have to bring it to the PO open so they can inspect it, now they charge you for tape.

  23. Quirky says:

    its the way of giving each 3 of your children, the same present!

  24. Kelsey says:

    I’ve seriously done that before. In difficult times when I’m running really late, it’s a necessity!

  25. Kadee says:

    Just FYI, if you put “priority” marked stuff on the package, they will try to make you ship it priority…
