What…no cushion?
Woodie truck!
I want to be a real car seat.
The seatbelt remains, so see, perfectly safe! (apart from the odd splinter up your derrier…)
Slide on over here, baby. And careful you don’t get a splinter in yer turd cutter!
How to convert a 4×4 truck to a 2×6 truck.
At last the seats match the wood grain dash.
If you think that’s creative, you should see the airbag!
Yes but where is the sink?
Would that make it a 2 X 4 X 6?
hmm…who here is waiting for the inevitable crash that leads to the bench getting into his eye?
The new ergonomics: “Lumber support”.
lumbar lumber!
Relax. Pine is a softwood.
Clearly a car-penter’s job…
@des
It has great lumber support.
@Daniel
Read, then post. *palmface*
Thanks, Carlo.
For seat adjustment, use a hacksaw.
He forgot to cut a hole for a cup holder.
@Alex
and another one for the port-a-potty.
Next upgrade, bucket seats.
Owie, owie, owie, mom I have a splinter in a bad place!
Looks great! I bet it wooden work on a rough surface though…
1. Presenting this year’s “Pinewood Derby” winner.
2. He nailed the idea, but the execution is only boarderline.
3. I thought the Forester was an SUV.
softness comes via the hoosier racing slick underneath the seat.
The 2×6 part is width and depth, as in the boards are 2x6s, not 2x4s.
And for the air bag do you prefer paper or plastic?
You can’t add a 4×4 and a 2×6. Addition is only defined if both matrices are the same size.
Wait… sorry, too much math today.
Anyway, we’ve all heard of “green” vehicles…
Imagine if he went with the bucket seat option.
@dono1
With that he could barrel down the highway.
@The Cat
Can’t even multiply them.
Were the fasteners upgraded to stainless?
Thus the convicted streaker’s wife ensured that he never drove naked again.
@JB
Win!
Splinters much lol
Reminds me of an old boss I had. He had metal folding chairs bolted down in his truck. Talk about classy!
Classic.
Guys, this is just a redneck father’s way of making “parking” a little less likely…or at least a little less worth it. Scrap wood is cheaper than birth control OR a shotgun.
This guy is a Notre Dame grad…he’s a football fan…and that’s the way they like it..every one gets 18″s and 1 fat guy throws everything off
Yabba-dabba-doo!
Definitely a stick shift
ay-ooooo
@The Cat
well it’s only green really if they use the wood before it goes through the kiln, or it got wet and started growing moss.
Some people take the whole “going green,” thing a little too far.
Gotta flat? Spares under the seat.
“…and always remember to buckle the seatbelt. Safety first.”
This wood drive me mad!
you cant see it but the head rest is a cinder block hanging from the roof
And just underneath the wood panels sits a nice bucket for those long stretches between rest stops!
