Everyone is assuming the car is PULLING the boat. Perhaps the boat is PUSHING the car. Nice multipurpose trick: the tailgate wiper doubles as a windshield wiper for the boat.

I think this is faked, as the car does seem to be moving. From personal experience I can tell you as soon as the car gets any real speed the wind resistance pushes the open hatchback/trunk lid/station wagon door etc. down. This door seems to be wide open and I don’t even see anything wedged in there to hold it up.

If you took off the hatch on the car and duct taped some metal or better yet some plywood in that opening this thing would be an excellent boat launcher. Just apply sudden braking.
