Judging by the hubcaps, he’s currently putting a giant spoiler on his trunk.
Going a bit far with the stripping down the Honda Civic don’t you think?
The car has been spoiled already…
Some of these just make me go ‘huh?’. It seems less work to stop by the you-pull-it and get a trunklid. It’s not like Civics are rare, weird cars, and this won’t work well.
At least he didn’t put a huge padlock and chain to secure it.
The cardboard will hold up about as well as the real decklid.

The plate was up in the back window but you could only see the name of the state and not the id numbers
I’m noticing a bike handlebar sticking out through the cardboard, and something less identifiable sticking out the other side, above the two strips of duct tape.

Ah, now you mention it… that makes more sense.
For some reason I thought the top bit of the left one was part of the tree in the background (it’s roughly the same colour if you’re not looking hard enough!) so I didn’t recognise them as both being the same shape.
duhh! cardboard is even lighter than carbon fiber. you haters are the idiots.

AND…the original trunk ‘lifters’ could be used as a built-in bike-rack!

it’s a little known racing secret… but cardboard will make your car WAY faster than carbon fiber…
