Pepsi Light?
They need a darker bottle to combat the light pollution.
why even bother with the broken bottle at this point?
The title says it all… this lighting is guaranteed to cause an emergency, probably soon considering the sky looks like its about to rain any minute.
It’s not even a GLASS bottle, it’s a cut-down plastic soda bottle, and it’s even partway melted by the heat of the fluorescent ballast. Niiiiice.
i’d say the bottle is to keep the rain off the wiring. But hey, at least it’s green tech. Recycled plastic, cfl bulb, and no trees were cut for the pole
That is Smart Grid!
Won’t be actually hazardous in the rain unless someone tries to touch it. It’s ugly as hell though, and whoever did that deserves to be slapped senseless.
@Khordas
sounds awful. Congrats on escaping the 11th ring of hell.
HAAA HAAA HAAA!!!! I remember Pepsi Light. OH that’s a good one, i just wish it did not make me feel so old.
@ Mr Evilwrench: It won’t take much slapping; he’s already apparently senseless.
They are really green as they also included a light sensor for auto shut! off
OR perhaps they may have blown the circuit breaker for the line!!
right from the “Favellas”……
Often seen similar lights in latin countries, hehe
Next time i will take pics
BUT I WANTED A BUD LIGHT!!!
At least they used the “green” compact flourescent bulb!
You know, its really not surprising that they had an EMPTY home brew bottle lying about while thinking to do this…
awesome a green jury rig (or kludge) I WANNA DO SUFIN LIKE TH@ BTW IN GTA THERE IS A INTERNET CAFE CALLED TW@
sorry for putting junk on it
if that was beer that would be hilarious @Mr. Frykas
