Might want to invest in a clear packing tape windshield next. Hate to get bugs in your teeth. I wonder what they will replace the left front tire with? A mace?
im guessing that is there portable hunting blind they drive the tractor into the woods and just park it and sit inside or pull it off and put it up against a tire to get back wind protection
@Criggie: It’s just a normal fifth-wheel trailer (i.e., one that goes over the truck bed and hooks into it), except that the awning is falling off, and you’re mistaking the awning’s rectangular support frame for a seam.
@Jamesann “It looks like a mode of transportation for the knights who say NI!”
Now that you mention it, the helmet it spot on. You must bring us a shrubbery!
I may be wrong but it looks, for all the world, like they put that thing on there some (long) time after the tractor died. At least judging by the age of the rust on the left-front wheel rim. But why?
It could have been put there after the tractor had died. However the metal looks to be galvanized steel. It takes that stuff a long time to rust, much longer than just painted steel. Altho I am not sure what good it would do on an operational, or even a non-op tractor. The huting idea is OK, except the tractor isn’t going anywhere, and a much better hunting shack is in the background…
I don’t exactly know why, but this photo reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) when he fight that guy who gets all of his limbs cut off LMFAO!!!!
@Paulo Oliveira
Actually, the point of the metal is to shade you and keep you cool. Beleve me, drive a tractor enough in the hot of summer, and you will want a shade as well.
Also, in winter, it blocks some of the breeze. Farmers often added glass to these sorts of setups if they had some laying around in order to block more winter wind. Often the glass was removable to promote a breeze in the summer.
Sweet old Oliver that is. It would probably be worth quite a chunk of change to the right collector.
Looks like a toilet to me.
P.S. First))
Mad Max Donald had a farm, ee-i-ee-i-o.

Yer all set, ya gotch yer trailer home, ya gotch yer pickup, and ya gotch yer tractor with a tin box with holes cut out of three sides over the seat.
It’s not even in working condition. the left front tire is missing and the gas tank is empty.
What are you doing for a living to that quick at seeing the real deal?@dono1
Tires are rotted to heck, but durn it, she’s got one dang fine wheelhouse, yessir!

Looks like someone started a KillDozer project and gave up
What’s with the mutant caravan in the background? Looks like a baby caravan is growing out of its forehead.
I love scenarios taken straight from Fallout
Oh god, that’s even more dangerous than the original (lack of tires notwithstanding). I like the hunting blind idea though.

My first thought on seeing this was that it was the modern day Black Knight after meeting Arthur, King of the Britains.
I think i’d rather get a skin cancer than melt inside this pot.
I guess they also need to mow the lawns at Guantanamo.
For Sale: CAT

Ahhhh, life is worth living again.

)

There’s a reason why there’s a trailer home in this picture.

This needs to be called “farming on a tight budget” or farming just to eat corn for 12 months in a year
I don’t exactly know why, but this photo reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) when he fight that guy who gets all of his limbs cut off LMFAO!!!!
it looks like a tractor as designed by Ned kelly
Having put up with too many nights of Mater’s ‘tipping’, one of the tractors started wearing a helmet to sleep.

This is on the same level as the pickup in Jeepers Creepers…most likely owned by the same dude o_O
Steel enforced tractor. For all those corn related attacks.
Don Quixote upgrades and returns for his epic fight vs the Windmills.
Wasn’t this the early prototype for the Popemobile?
