I have an 11-year-old who would definitely do this. He *loves* to invent things. Scotch tape is his best friend. We’re avoiding duct tape because it’s a lot harder to get off things.

Careful, providing duct tape to a minor is a felony in some states. Just crazy in all others.

Haha, if they actually covered the entire phone (save for the screen) and didn’t do such an ugly taping job, it wouldn’t even look half bad. Pretty neat.
I don’t know if you’re aware of this but they make duct tape now that leaves now residue when removed. It is SUPER COOL.

It’s one of the newer LG enV models (I can’t tell if it’s a 2 or a 3). But it flips open to a much bigger screen and a full QWERTY keyboard on the inside. The outside screen is basically only good for making calls thanks to that tiny screen.
its an env 2 i guess mine is an env3 but the only diffrence is that mine has smaller speakers diffrent button layout (
srry bad phone connection so it has a bigger outside screen but only by a little and it only comes in 2 colers (blue and whitr)

That is pretty cool, it might be useful to make an el cheapo mobile into one of those special ‘big button’ things that cost LOADS even though they’ve got NO features whatsoever.
The screen looks like it’s broken. LCD screens often get black “internal bleeding” if the glass cracks.

I have this phone… it’s an LG enV(2). I’ve had it about 18 months and it’s the best phone I’ve ever owned! It’s in perfect condition (even though I am hard on electronics). I love the speedy T9 texting from the outside and the advanced QWERTY texting on the inside.
I find it hard to believe that the people who said “LG sucks” actually have owned and used this phone.
it sounds like verison is paying you to butter up thier phone because it sucks

My husband and I both have this phone. It’s crap. The outer screen on his is dead and it won’t charge any more. A friend of ours has gone through three of these because the outer screen keeps dying. I’ll be punting this one as soon as I found out if Verizon will be getting the iPhone.
I have one too. it’s decent but my motorola krzr that this replaced had much better reception. will be getting a moto phone next time.
verizon sucks, rates need to come down or we are switching. who cares if they get the iphone for the love of god? Iphone is soooo 2007.
