Translation:THIS IS IN PONCE, PUERTO RICO!!! I SEE IT ALL THE TIMEEE!!!!
u are right, i saw it from a distance and it looked real. i was on hwy 1 on my way to walmart. i discovered http://www.thereifixedit.com literally 5 min before i took this photo.
is this the technique where salvaged pieces of a broken tail light are crushed up, added to an epoxy base and poured into a mold to re-create a cover for the light assembly? I’ve heard of that somewhere, don’t know if it’s actually done?
I’ve been to Puerto Rico. I’ve seen much worse, and not just in Ponce. Come to think of it, the last car we rented there had no driver’s side mirror. I wanted to tape a generic handheld mirror in its place, but decided it wasn’t worth it for a week. Probably would’ve done so if I’ve known about TIFI then.
I have this car. In the US it’s an Esteem. And no. It did not come from the manufacturer like this. However….I think my windows that don’t roll down anymore did.
What!?!?! No duct tape? Can’t possibly be a legal repair!
Trips take a little longer when you can only legally turn left.
It’s a prosthetic tail light! Or a real-life photoshop?!
That’s no photo-shop.
It’s a Suzuki, so to be fair about it, it may have come from the dealer like that.
he just forgot to fix the left side.
why the right break lights dont light up?
I think it is duck tape. There is a wide variety of colors available nowadays.
But, does it light up?
The Puerto Rico tag shocked me! The reason there’s no duct tape is that they consider that chrome and charge extra.
ESTO FUE EN PONCE, PUERTO RICO!!! LO SE TODOOO!!!!

LOL!! PUERTO RICO REPRESENTING!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!! THIS MADE ME LAUGH SOOOO HARD!!!!
If they would just put a patch on the good eye, the lazy eye would correct itself.
Nice one Badgirl.
I would love to see this from another angle. I love how they painted on a tail light after they “fixed” it. A+++
@Paddy
Yeah, totally photoshopped. Then they printed it out, cut it and put it there.
Not much you can do if the cop is right on your tail, but maybe from a distance it looks okay. At least, I think that’s what they’re hoping.
Thank you FixMaster.
Yeah, cut and paste job all the way.
