Cool pic!
I wanna know what i says on the post-it/note on the AC side. Might just be “PLease don’t touch”
Do you need to use titles that read like they were lifted from lolcatz? One thing I liked about this site was the titles are generally pretty clever…don’t dumb the site down in a lame attempt to be cute.
I like the large jar of Skippy sitting on the desk.
O.o , is he desining a roller coaster ??
Cool, i also want a job where i can play “Roller Coaster Tycoon” the whole day XD
He decided to lay on extra cooling for his PC, but couldn’t find any leaf blowers handy.
“According to my thermographic software program, this peanut butter is now at optimum spreading temperature.”
Well, if you’re gonna be stuck in a cube all day, you might as well make it worth your while.
I approve of this. Yes, I do.
I can’t be the only one that’s enough of an arse to shove a big chunk of Limburger in that pipe. Just to teach the mooch on the other side a lesson.
@Jim Heckel
That would work so much better if it were wintertime, and the a/c unit had a heater as well!
Take that hot flashes.
and a fine use of duct tape.
Now all he needs is a foam-block chair!
Pix #1- “No wonder my spidey senses are tingling! That air conditioner is being installed by none other than Doctor Octopus!”
Pix #2- How many times must we tell you? Hide the peanut butter when Babar drops by the office.
I think it’s very nice that the duct only covers part of the A/C vent. He’s just getting his fair share, and leaving plenty of cool air for other people.
Right. Mooch, my arse. It would be fine if that stupid wall wasn’t there. Maybe there’s no window in that cubicle and it gets really hot in the afternoon. He only took a little corner for some cool air.
That’s no A/C unit, that’s a peanut butter stealing vacuum!
An A/C fix without the thermodynamicist crew jumping to reject/defend it? It must be a long weekend or something.
@Daniel
I said I approved of it! The only thing the should do is fix the hole in the dryer duct, and maybe insulate the dryer duct so that it doesn’t sweat all over the cubicle, but this is OK.
@JH
Yeah, those T7400 workstations can churn out some heat!
Don’t judge… the pentagon is a really old building.
Looks to me as if the guy is designing a roadway. Plan view at the top and profile at the bottom. I’m a civil engineer so I’d recognize it from anywhere.
Looks like an Apollo 13 fix to me… with duct tape!
I actually did something similar to this in college – had a window AC unit, but my desk was tucked into a corner and didn’t get any natural air flow from it so the computer turned it into a little heat bubble even when the rest of the room was cool. The AC redirection worked remarkably well at getting air flowing again in the corner.
@Jim Heckel
My mom put deer musk in her high school air conditioning system once, so that they had to evacuate the school ’cause it smelled so bad. True story.
“My mom put deer musk in her high school air conditioning system once, so that they had to evacuate the school ’cause it smelled so bad. True story.”
HA! They told her at the time she would never hear the end of it and apparently they were right!
Just curious what motivated that act of terrorism. Was it compulsory testing week or something? Or a dare of some sort? Did that earn her membership into the Elk Club?
now you can overclock your pc, you’ve got some decent cooling for it
that’s a road plan and profile on autocad. He’s a civil engineer or drafter for one.
@Jason
yea thats a Plan and Profile shot from ACAD Civil3d. i doubt an engineer would be sitting in that crap office tho. must be a peon…
@Jason
Yeah, I saw the profile before the peanut butter.
…Us folks in civil are a creative breed.

Actually, you turn it to the right to cool the cpu. Leaf blower ain’t got nuthin’ on this.
