What ladder Gag?
I don’t get it…
That should protect his wing mirrors
That would be useful in Austin, Tx now that we have to maintain a 3 ft distance from bicycles–great way to measure
That has “eat shit” written all over it.
I am surprised that the car came so far at all.
I’m wondering that the roof (or at least the rear window) is still intact… cuz this looks really dangerous (chasing pedestrians without ralizing it… o_O …
Everything’s bigger in Texas, right?
Rear seat extension, now it can haul 6 more illegals across the border
As soon as that rollback truck has to lock up the brakes to avoid an accident, that car will be an instant convertible.
Well, at least this lucky !@#!@$!@er got his license plate published on the ‘net. Atlk ’bout instant fame with the local police and neighborhood…
Someone should blur that to stop the darwin-awarder wannabes. Or maybe it’s too late already ?
Definately, a Darwin-award nominee.
Buddy took this on the way to work on 59 in Houston last year. There’s another shot from directly behind where you can see the ladder easily spanning the lane markers.
Please tell me your buddy sent those pics to the cops – this guy should never be allowed behind the wheel.
actually, he’s secretly testing next year’s new NASCAR spoiler design.
The driver had a choice between safety or convenience. He chose the ladder.
I seem to remember that the police were called, but the car exited soon after.
Well, actually, it must be legal. He has a red flag on the right side end.
Hey, look at the ladder’s angle. It’s not a spoiler, it’s a brand new design of compact wings!
Dang! Dono1 does it again. Well played pun-god. Well played indeed.
How do people this stupid get licenses?
OMG some of the puns on this sight have made me laugh out loud or giggle to myself but this one made me burst out in laughter, i almost cried i was laughing so much.
@Fredster: Its not. If it had a sign saying ‘wide load’ it’d be fine.
If you looked up “dedication” in the dictionary, this is the photo you would find therre.
*there
ROTFL, dude that is just too funny! Thats one way to get it home I guess!
RT
Mmmmmmm Jack in the Box…. *DROOL*
as soon as i saw this, i thought: i wonder how many pedestrians you could could take out with that on a narrow crowded street in 1 minit?
shoot at sight
For a second there, I thought the VW was riding on top of the Chrysler. Now THAT would’ve been an epic kludge!
i dont get it
@dono1
Brilliant!
its a tight race for better comment between slick and dono
This guy is obviously working his way “DOWN” the ladder of success!
…And then there was the sadistic semi driver who decided to pass this fellow, a little close on one side.
Well, actually, it must be legal. He has a red flag on the right side end…
Of course that would be a Texas license plate. It’s a wonder we aren’t all killed.
Xmido…for real?? You dont see a problem here?
Sneaking suspicion that is my hometown of Houston.
We see things like this everyday in Utah. What’s the big deal?
@Paddy
The front half of the roof would still be intact.
Actually it would be a landaulet or half-landau
I’m thinking this was a photo shot..inconceivable
@jim har
I definitely believe it all now. I see things like this at least once a month… people never think about what they’re buying until they have it in the parking lot and are forced to stick it somewhere just to get it home.
Punch buggy red.
@dono1
Dono 1, that was classic, first time I snickered in three days. Thanks
@dono1
ROFL!! Best pun on the site
Looks like a 2nd story many on his way to work.
make that 2nd story man
Was that at 59 and Airport in stafford?
koji kreten, baš je pravi amer
@LR
Yup, I drive that every day.
@dono1
dono1 –brilliant.
For the love of God, don’t take it through a toll booth!
can’t pass that towtruck on the right huh?
@Mythar
Look up “Keystone Cops.”
This dumb@$$ is on the freeway right here by my house. This is on 59 (the SW Frwy) northbound at West Airport (that’s the JItB next to WalMart) on the edge of Houston and Stafford.
I wish I could say this is an isolated case, but if any of y’all have ever driven in Houston, you know that isn’t true…it happens all too often!
@The Cat: This stupid person is 99% guaranteed to NOT have a license, required liability insurance, and probably has an illegal inspection sticker. Another all-too-common occurrence in Houston.
looks like a WWE fan taking it to the road.
Punch buggy red
Now ill never have to reach out my window to hit pedestrians again
Slug Bug!! **punches someone in the arm**
what a dumb ass. who would buy a red beetle
The guy want to fly.
