I’m 98% sure I know who made that boat. It was supposed to float around on the Charles River on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks. It worked, but didn’t meet the fire code.

Also, it was made by a bunch of bored engineering nerds.

the board on the right is actually a sail board, notice the slot in the centre, it’s for a centre board and the smaller slot is for a sail and mast, so they at least have some form of propulsion.
