To clarify: The top half of the faucet was snapped off, thus when you turned it on in sent a stream of water flying into the wall on the other end of the kitchen. The bottle fixed that.

This is a swivel kitchen faucet, that normally would have a pull out shower head like sprayer, that is missing, most likely this is a bank repo-d house, where the previous evicted owner has made a few attempts to sabotage the house, and these parts are very hard to find for designer faucets. Looks funny though!

The part about the faucet itself is correct. However, instead of a disgruntled ex home owner breaking it, it was the pure airheadedness of a family member.
