  21. Paddy says:

    This is the true definition of a work-around!

  22. Bill says:

    Perhaps this was purposely designed this way as an artistic statement? There ARE places that don’t have the boring, boxy, everything’s-the-same style of architectural design that plagues America.

  23. dono1 says:

    We could talk about what they did on the fourth floor… but that’s a different story.

  33. notanengineer says:

    @lehcyfer
    hm… either this or (I think this is more probable:

    a) Bruce Wayne’s secret hideout with his redneck fireman-pole leading right into the batcave or
    b) the backside of the bar where special agent 69 works (codename Stripperella!!)

  36. Louis says:

    @ rafael de bono:

    So Polish people are a different race altogether?

    Please state your ethnic background:

    Caucasian, Black African, Polish……..

  37. Yoda says:

    That’s actually in Romania, and that’s an gipsy palace. It’s not an error, it’s intended to be as large as possible, even on public domain. For more craps like this search palate tiganesti (gipsy palaces in romanian) http://images.google.com/images?q=palate%20tiganesti .

  38. pazuzu says:

    @The Brain
    As Yoda stated, it’s gypsy palace in Romania. We don’t do such things. Building regulations in Poland are pretty strict. Unless there is some gypsy palace in Poland (yes, unfortunately we have some of them in our country, too), you won’t find such architectural hidiosity.

    And if you want a piece of polish decent modern architecture(internationally awarded), type in google graphic search “stary browar”

    http://images.google.pl/images?hl=pl&q=stary+browar&btnG=Szukaj+obraz%C3%B3w&gbv=2&aq=f&oq=

    • Jordi says:

      You should know the pic was taken in a village called Tordera, in a zone of Spain (near Barcelona) where people have their (our) own language and the people living there are Catalan… And the rest of Spaniards call Catalan people “Polish”… So, it’s a building for South Polish people…

  39. TGI says:

    @rafael de bono
    it would be hilarious!

  40. Prom says:

    All the effort to build around the pole, no effort to build sides or railings onto these balconies…I’m speechless.
