F- for the amount of water its going to waste from inefficiency. To much water with poor distribution uniformity. You will waste more water than if you watered with your thumb over the end of the hose. Its not just about plastics, think of water too….

i have thought about that, all you should need is a female-female adapter for the waterhose. i have never seen such a thing, but if they don’t sell them it would be easy to make from a couple old waterhoses, or parts from the hardware store.
