keep who out?
The locks are on the outside. They’re to keep people in.
Women with self esteem
I think the owner
To heck with the chain lock – I wanna see how they kludged the window!
girls, likely.
They should have put the chain lock inside for security reasons.
Occasion2B
It’s there to prevent the door from swinging open when braking / high speed chases in reverse.
It’s the hinges that really make it for me. Klassy!
Spelling classy with a “k”. Now that’s classy
The window is easy. Plastic wrap and velcro.
I’m disappointed, I would expect more duct tape!
finally those carpentry classes paid off
It looks like a really nice neighborhood, check out the house across the street. Bet the neighbors LOVE seeing that thing in the driveway!
If ya don’t have the money to fix the car, what else can ya do, I guess? A little yankee ingenuity goes a long way. He should paint it, though.
Now I’m no redneck, but I think it looks pretty cool….
Although the door COULD use a few coats of blue Minwax wood stain, I think the bigger problem is he’s parking under a tree with a terradactyl nest in it.
And what’s that below the chain lock… a doorbell?
If he has to resort to a hack like that, what makes you think he can afford to paint it?
Oh man… I’d be embarrassed to steal that car… I’d be tempted to steal something FOR it, like a box of plastic wrap to cover the door so the rain won’t come in…
The gate latch under the door knob does it for me!!
Considering the neighbourhood, its probably 1) kids car, bought and paid for with his own money, 2) kids friends car (or every-parents-nightmare, the boyfriends car)
that shop class in junior high is sure paying off
what is that white stuff on the hood?
UNINSURED MOTORIST
Best attempt at mixing high school auto shop and wood shop in the same semester. Bet he got points off for not using marine plywood.
I always did like those old wood-side cars…
Now it has that Jeep Wagoneer look! Needs a bit more rust though…
its not to keep girls out silly, Its to keep them in!!!
I’ve seen a Geo Tracker running around neck of the woods that has a plywood tailgate with like hinges.
That’s why I still keep around a covered wagon for parts.
wow!
kawabunga!!!they brought the woody back…lets go surfing!!
I think a do not enter sign is in order here, in lieu of a window.
I’m gonna get a sick aftermarket door bell with my next unemployment check!
I didn’t know Blazers came as woodies!
Exactly!
