    Don’t know where that was, but if it was in a township like mine, there’s no fencing ordinances to prohibit such an eyesore, only road right-of-way laws, which are state laws.

    There’s a fence similar to that on the road to our summer vacation place. There are a lot of crashes in the area and whoever owns the fence has a habit of collecting any stray hubcaps – perhaps as a kind of warning or just for “decoration”..

    as a kid one of the fences bordering my house was like this, packed tighter though. They had horses over there too, which regularly “stepped” over it into out front yard.
