  1. Mic Edwards says:

Not a worthy one, I’m afraid.

  2. Xande says:

    Nice!
    Very good fix!

  3. almondwine says:

    Epic win.

  4. Fotune says:

    @Mic Edwards I do concur.

  5. anonymous coward says:

That’s a Rubbermaid container, not Tupperware.

  6. teebo says:

Not exactly a fix, unless there was a broken arcade stick shell around. Moreso just using Tupperware as a nice project box. Keeps ICs fresh.

  7. adam says:

    This is awesome. Kludge WIN!

  8. Panda says:

Not a fix. Plans all over the internet to build arcade-style controls for the new Street Fighter game. I work for a large electronics company that rhymes with Pony and I’ve seen many in wooden boxes, plastic boxes and the like.

  9. Mr. Bill says:

This is not a “Fix”, this is hidden Genious!

  10. Kevin says:

Actually this kind of rocks :)

  11. PeggyLuWho says:

Yeah, I’m actually kind of impressed, too.

  12. Valkyrie says:

Love that they didn’t peel the label off the box!

  13. Nick says:

Yeah, this is pretty much awesome.

  14. Robert says:

This is a Make, not a TIFI

  15. ad-hoc says:

sure its not a fix but neither is a lot of the ‘redneck’ stuff on here – e.g. floatation device. one mans lunchbox joystick is another mans pink floaters.

  16. Margoyle says:

They’re totally playing King of Fighters ’98 with that doctored joystick. Rockin’.

  17. AngelZero says:

    Oh, I want one, badly.

  18. Joseph says:

That’s a solution I hadn’t thought of for an arcade stick. Pretty impressed myself.

  19. Marcelo says:

    pretty cool, actually.

  20. Blockhed13 says:

U have to appreciate anyone that can make an awesome fix like that. I wonder what he does with his spare time, maybe he made a completly remade NES to go with it or he was the one that made the computer in a box or out of coke cans and coke crates. Nice inginuity dude. I bet MacGyver would be proud.

  21. Travis.t says:

This is kinda practical really, for those of us with young kids that like to drop the controller on the tile floors(yea almost all floors are tile in florida), or throw it. Seriously, where can I buy a couple?

  22. paul says:

See, I looked at that and thought it was some anal-retentive germophobe trying to keep their controller clean….like my old neighbor used to wrap her remote control in saran wrap. That would have been a fix.

  23. Kurt says:

The rubbermaid joystick is pretty sweet, IMO. Now, wrapping your mod in cardboard…that’s what I’m talkin’ about:

  24. Rob says:

    A very clever modification.

  25. mark says:

thats what happens when the engineering club makes an arcade game and then goes “oh crap we don’t have anything to put everything in!”

  26. Mini me says:

That says Rubbermaid, but that is a good controller!

  27. wes says:

    thats actually pretty cool!

  28. Brithael says:

    Hellz yes!

  29. QuoteRadar says:

NICE. I’m headed over to Instructables to see if I can find out how to make one.

  30. Becky says:

I am a Tupperware consultant and I just want to say this is great but it is Rubbermaid not Tupperware!! I am sure I have a peice of Tupperware you could use instead and it would be much nicer too! ;-)

  31. neg0dnick says:

why i can leave comment on Russian?!?!?! ((((

  32. maxsteele2 says:

    EPIC WIN. FOREVER.

  33. Kathy says:

Actually, that would be a very good controller for someone with a handicap that didnt have the manual dexterity to operate one of the small controllers! I vote WIN!

  34. CAK says:

This is good way to keep older technology fresh.

  35. CAK says:

This is a good way to keep older technology fresh.

  36. Rexilafa says:

Never enoyed this much a tupperware reunion!
