Dang! This is amazing. I had a cheapa$$ apartment with a faucet like that too! Yes, it had vicegrips on it. Knowing the landlord at the time, he would have had me pay to replace the taps because his argument would have been “It works better now.”

holy crap i had to do a 2nd take because i thought this was the faucet from my house. my buddy’s girlfriend is a professional masseuse and thought our faucet was stuck and ripped the handle off. we used the vicegrips for about 3 months. sexy.

@gil i remember needle nose pliers to change the channel also reminds me of the vice grips my dad used to replace the throttle handle on our old cub cadet lawn tractor

Almost anything can be “fixed” with any or a combination of the following: duct tape, WD-40, vice grips pliers. Rubber mallet is optional equipment.

I knew a guy who drove his Corvair around for months using a pair of Visegrips in place of the steering wheel.
