He taped over a hole in the wall with red duct tape. @Marcos

The guy at the paint counter sure messed up on that color match. Close, but no cigar.
It looks more like cellophane tape, like “Tail Light” tape, then duct tape. That hole still shows up too well to be duct tape.
I like the fact that they still used the larger light switch plate even though there is only one switch – might as well tape over that hole as well while they are at it…
This one wins my vote because of the apparent sincerity of the attempt. There’s also a poignancy in the huge gap between the worker’s initial vision and the (failed) finished product. (Should one laugh or cry?)
Kinda have to wonder what put the hole there in the first place.

Wow, now paint is obsolete. This inspires me to start a colored duct tape company and start doing this to entire rooms.

Actually, see…what happened was…the walls were white, the hole…just appeared one day…and they had some red taillight tape, and the paint store was having a sale on red barn paint. So they just went in for the whole remodelling deal, spared no expense, covered the hole, painted the wall, wow! One summer projekt dun!!!! Let’s go have a beer!
