(Form, Fit?, and function) I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 that the mode button (directs the location of the air)Quit working. They want in excess of $1,100 to fix a known problem. I say it should be recalled as a safety item but doubt they ever will. I need to find some way to clip these ducts onto my vents and I’ll be in business!

The control that’s supposed to switch defrost, vent, floor, etc. had broken and stuck in vent so I used sections of household vacuum hose and (of course) duct tape. Aimed one up to the windsheild, and another down to the floor. Hey, who wants to go to the Pick n’ Pull junkyard in the middle of winter?
