You’re right. I have glued other fine objects with string tension, though never a guitar. It’s all observation and patience. You have to secure certain points till they’re dry.

Very true… my father is a luthier and teaches me when I help out (He prefers restoring vintages pieces), and this looks pretty familiar…
The real TIFI (ThereIFixedIt) is the obvious signs that someone previously tried to tape the guitar together….

I’m a Luthier and this is how it’s done. Over time the glue fails. Too much heat, not enough humidity, or just dropping it. There’s more damage to be fixed, but you do it in stages
